"For therapists, war is not only a human tragedy—it’s a test of our tools and methods. And Neurac has met that challenge".

On February 24, 2022, Ukraine’s physical and rehabilitation medicine faced an immense challenge: a rapidly growing number of military and civilian victims of war. Modern warfare has brought a devastating rise in mine-explosive injuries from rockets, airstrikes, and artillery. As the rehabilitation system faced overwhelming demands, the Neurac method—supported by Redcord equipment—became a vital part of restoring lives.

Scaling International Standards
Since 2015, the Neurac method has been actively used in Ukraine’s rehabilitation medicine. Over 100 centers now apply it in orthopedic and neurological care. Since 2017, certified instructors trained in Norway have led official Neurac courses in Ukraine, preparing more than 500 therapists to international standards. That groundwork became crucial when war broke out.
"I can say that during this time of our work, the method Neurac and the equipment of Redcord have once again confirmed their unconditional effectiveness".

A Critical Tool in War Rehabilitation
Over the past three years, the Neurac method and Redcord equipment have proven vital in these harsh conditions, supporting recovery at every stage of rehabilitation. Physical therapists using neuromuscular activation have helped thousands of wounded—those with amputations, neurotrauma, and complex injuries—reclaim movement and dignity.
"It can be said with confidence that the technical potential of diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities of the Neurac allow it to be successfully integrated into rehabilitation protocols for working with people who have received various injuries as a result of hostilities".

Looking Forward: Integrating into National Education
To meet the growing need for expert care, integrating the Neurac method into the core of physical therapy education at Ukrainian state universities is becoming increasingly important. The method’s diagnostic and therapeutic potential makes it a valuable part of modern rehabilitation protocols.
