What Makes Redcord Unique
Unloading Bodyweight
Redcord Workstation is an trusted training system that uses body-weight unloading to enable pain-free movement without compensation. By creating a safe environment, it helps break the cycle of pain and dysfunction and supports relearning optimal movement patterns. Its versatility makes Redcord effective across all stages—from rehabilitation to performance training.

Fig. shows the Redcord Workstation and the Supine Bridge Exercise with de-loading elastic bands under the pelvis (Wide Sling) and anchor points at the shoulders (ground) and feets (Narrow Sling).
Unsteady Conditions
Redcord enhances neuromuscular coordination by using an unstable, body-weight–supported environment that activates interconnected muscle chains. This controlled instability improves muscle activation, coordination, and whole-body stability, training the body to function as an integrated unit rather than isolated muscles.

Fig. The Redcord Axis uses a dual-pulley system that allows smooth rope movement, enabling controlled rotational movements of the neck and spine in weight-bearing suspension exercises. Its unsteadiness also ensures equal load distribution between the limbs in exercises such as Push-Up Plus and Supine Bridge.
High Versatility
Redcord offers unmatched versatility, providing extensive training options through its easily adjustable system. With the use of
carabiners, equipment can be quickly switched out, allowing for a seamless transition between exercises. This flexibility opens up limitless possibilities for exercise setups, making Redcord an ideal solution for diverse training needs and goals.

Fig. Redcord slings and the PowerGrip provide safe, comfortable interfaces with the suspension ropes, used with elastic-band unloading or as fixation points in suspension exercises. From upper left: Split Sling for cervical support; Narrow Sling for lower-limb support in bridging and core exercises; PowerGrip for closed-chain upper-extremity tasks (e.g., push-ups); Wide Sling for unloading the pelvis or upper trunk in bridges; and the Straps (smallest) for rowing, shoulder, and full-length lower-limb exercises.
Tailored Intensity
Redcord offers easy exercise adjustments to match any performance level, ensuring a truly personalized training experience. With a wide range of progressions and regressions, users can fine-tune intensity to meet their individual needs.
The figure illustrates various ways to modify exercise difficulty, including:
-
Adjusting moment arms
-
Using one- or two-legged support
-
Changing arm position (in front of the chest – harder, along the sides – easier)
-
Selecting different surfaces (from high-friction Redcord Mat to an unstable balance cushion)
-
Modifying suspension point placement (distal – heavier, proximal – easier)

Fig. Exercises can be progressed in several ways: 1->2 shows increase in moment arm, 2->3 increase by rope angulation, 5->6 increase by instability, 6->7 increase by additional movements in abduction, 7->8 additional movements in flexion.
Unilateral Training
Redcord’s capability for lateralization allows for precise, unilateral exercise and therapy, enabling a specific focus on the muscles you want to activate. This targeted approach helps pinpoint and address weaknesses, ensuring that each exercise is highly effective in strengthening and balancing the body. With Redcord, you can achieve focused muscle activation, making it an essential tool for correcting imbalances and optimizing performance.

Complete System
Redcord offers a comprehensive system that seamlessly integrates testing and treatment, delivering a holistic approach to rehab and training. The Neurac method promotes a critical thinking framework, encouraging a thoughtful process to identify the most effective exercises rather than performing exercises without clear purpose. By combining testing for weaknesses, treatment, and a focused thought process, The method ensures that each exercise is purposeful and tailored to individual needs, enhancing the overall effectiveness of the program.

Transfer to Functionality
Redcord helps improve performance in other exercise modalities by optimizing movement patterns and functionality. The effects of Neurac Therapy and Neurac Exercise can be transferred to both sports and everyday activities, ensuring that users can perform at their best in various contexts. By focusing on functional training, i.e., involving the core and limb kinetic chains, Redcord enhances the body’s ability to move efficiently and effectively, leading to improved overall performance and reduced risk of injury.

Durable Equipment
Redcord ensures long-lasting performance with high-quality, robust materials designed for intensive use. The equipment is built to withstand the demands of both professional training and therapeutic environments, providing reliable support over time. Additionally, Redcord’s commitment to durability means less frequent replacements and lower long-term costs for users. Redcord is the most frequently applied suspension equipment in randomized controlled trials.

Documented Benefits
Proven Expertise Through 30+ Years of Innovation
Trusted by professionals worldwide, Redcord operates in 30+ countries. Our solutions combine three decades of equipment innovation, clinical research, and structured education to drive superior patient and athlete outcomes.
Adaptive Bodyweight Support for Pain-Free, Progressive Rehab
Precisely tailors bodyweight support and resistance to match individual needs, reducing pain and restoring natural movement [1, 2]. Enables safe, measurable progress from early recovery to advanced rehab.
Controlled Instability and Vibrations for Enhanced Muscle Activation
Leverages purposeful instability to activate deep stabilizing muscles [3], improving neuromuscular control, core strength, coordination, and functional stability. For example, Redcord Axis, Balance Cushion, and vibrations [3], all enhance instability progression.
Integrated Evaluation & Training in a System of Kinetic Chains
Combines kinetic chain testing, corrective exercises, and neuromuscular activation in one adaptable solution—suitable for everything from acute rehabilitation to performance training. Example: Test and training protocols are effective for patients with subacromial impingement syndrome [4-6] and in-season athlete performance [7].
Instant Adaptability for All Rehab & Training Stages
The Redcord system allows effortless intensity adjustments, seamlessly transitioning from post-op recovery to elite athletic conditioning. Example: The Trainer’s suspension ropes adjust easily, supporting fine-tuned elastic cord de-/re-loading required for weight-bearing Neurac SET.
Functional Movement Enhancement for Real-Life Results
Restores and refines movement patterns that translate into daily activities, sports, and work tasks for long-term recovery. Example: The single-leg supine pelvic lift (exercise), when properly guided, improves walking [8] , running, and soccer kicking [6].
Targeted Unilateral Training to Correct Kinetic Chain Imbalances
Facilitates single-sided exercises to expose and correct asymmetric force transfer (between body segments), promoting balanced strength and reducing injury risk [6].
Durable, High-Quality Equipment for Long-Term Performance
Engineered from premium materials for intensive clinical use, ensuring patient safety, reliable function, and long-term return on investment.
