- I feel better than ever
After a long struggle with a poor self image, former artist and dancer Lene Alexandra Oeien (29) feels better than ever. A change of lifestyle changed her life.
Today Øien works as a personal trainer at a gym in Norway, and she use Redcord on several of their clients. In an interview with Seher.no, she explains her long struggle with poor self-image.- Regular exercise, sleep eight hours a day and healthy food is my first priority in life. I put work, family, friends and everything else on top of that. If i dont prioritice, I have nothing extra to give. That should be for everyone. Health should come first, says the former "Let's Dance"- star to Seher.no.She believes the secret lies in her head, and that the focus first and foremost should be on the interior. She is now experiencing that too many are struggling with poor self-esteem.- Self-esteem is related to lifestyle, exercise and diet. It does not help if you have low body fat percentage and big boobs if you have low self-esteem. I have had low self-esteem, so I know. It does not help you fixing everything on the outside, if you dont build it up from the inside. That's what I started in 2008, she says to the site.It is clear that her change of focus, with active daily exercise, has had a positive impact on her self image.- I am very happy with my body now. I am happier now than when I was 20 years old. It is not for sure that my body looks better, but I feel at least better, she says.
