Standing Leaning Forward is an effective exercise for the whole body and focus on muscles on the front of the body. The exercise challenges neuromuscular control in the core region and is widely used!
Required equipment: Redcord Trainer or Redcord Mini, two straps.
Starting position: Stand up directly under the Redcord Trainer/Redcord Mini with your feet shoulder width apart. Place straps at elbows with 90 degrees of elbow flexion. (See picture).
Instructions: Slowly lean body forward by flexing shoulders until shoulders are at a 90 degree angle to the body. Hold this position for 2-3 seconds before returning to starting position. Make sure your body is straight throughout the exercise (see picture). Perform 5 repetitions of 3 sets.
